We are looking for a Senior Recipe Developer to create, test, and refine recipes for the Recipe Cheese club. You will work in our Fort Lauderdale test kitchen alongside our founder and test kitchen lead, turning great ideas into clear, dependable recipes that home cooks love.
What you will do
- Develop original recipes across our 15 categories, with a focus on cheese-forward and weeknight-friendly dishes
- Test and retest recipes in the test kitchen, documenting timing, yields, and substitutions
- Write clear, friendly recipe instructions and technique notes in the Recipe Cheese voice
- Collaborate with the shop team to test kitchen tools in real cooking conditions
- Help plan the seasonal recipe calendar and identify gaps in the collection
- Review member questions and feedback to improve existing recipes
What you bring
- 4+ years of professional experience in recipe development, test kitchens, or restaurant cooking
- Strong understanding of cooking technique, food science basics, and ingredient substitutions
- Excellent writing skills with an eye for clear, step-by-step instructions
- Comfort working with a wide range of cuisines and dietary preferences
- Ability to work on-site in our Fort Lauderdale kitchen at least three days per week
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing several projects at once
Nice to have
- Experience with cheesemaking or working in a specialty cheese shop
- Food styling experience for recipe photography
- Familiarity with nutrition analysis tools

What you will do
- Respond to member and customer emails with warm, accurate, and timely answers
- Help customers with membership questions, billing, cancellations, and refunds
- Assist shop customers with order status, shipping, returns, and product care
- Answer basic cooking and recipe questions, escalating to the test kitchen when needed
- Keep our help articles and FAQs up to date
- Track common issues and share insights with the product and culinary teams
What you bring
- 2+ years of experience in customer support, ideally for an online business
- Excellent written communication skills with a friendly, helpful tone
- Comfort learning new software tools, including help desk and order management systems
- Patience, empathy, and strong problem-solving skills
- A reliable home workspace and internet connection
- Authorization to work in the United States
