Glass Cheese Storage Dome

Plastic wrap suffocates good cheese, and an open plate dries it out. This dome strikes the balance. A tall glass cloche sits over a solid acacia wood base, and small vent notches in the base rim let cheese breathe while protecting it from drying drafts and stray fridge odors.

Use it to bring a wedge of brie up to room temperature for an hour or two before serving, or slide it into the fridge to store an assortment of cut cheeses. The acacia base doubles as a small serving board, and the round knob on top makes lifting the dome easy.
