All the flavor of buffalo wings with none of the frying or the sticky fingers. This dip mixes tender shredded chicken with cream cheese, ranch-style dressing and plenty of cayenne pepper hot sauce, then bakes under a blanket of sharp cheddar until bubbling.
We add crumbled blue cheese right into the mix for that classic wing-night tang, plus a little garlic and green onion to keep it from tasting one-note. Rotisserie chicken makes quick work of the prep, though poached breasts or leftover roast chicken work just as well.
Serve it hot with celery and carrot sticks, tortilla chips or crackers. It also holds nicely in a small slow cooker on the warm setting for a long game.
- Wing flavor without frying
- Uses rotisserie chicken
- Great for game day
